Schweppes had just arrived as a customer at BBDO. Eric Leurquin, the head of design, wanted to offer new visuals for their generic ads and assigned me to that task. I started with the idea of reputation and standing associated with the brand.
To do so, I created a composition with the ingredients pictured on a black background. Unfortunately, although they liked the propositions, Schweppes didn't want to change their visual key.
